Sons of Freedom - 86 St. Music Hall

This was the last show of the tour and Leslea's first rock concert ever. The Sons of Freedom totally rocked the house. It totally made up for the show earlier that year at which I lost my Dad's watch. It didn't hurt that I had comps from David; the concert was part of a Coast 1040 club night.

Sons of Freedom - 86 St. Music Hall

The most memorable aspect of this show was losing my Dad's Seiko watch in the mosh pit. I was packed into the pit when the band started their set. During the first song, I felt a tug at my wrist and the watch was gone. I don't know if it just fell off my wrist in the pit or if someone actually pulled it off me. I had been wearing the watch for a couple years and the leather strap was in pretty bad shape, so I blame myself. I was in an angry mood for the rest of the show so I wouldn't appreciate the Sons live until later that year. At one point, Susan had to pull me away from a fight I almost started with some idiot who shoved me. She then proceeded to give him a piece of her mind.
