Nine Inch Nails/Jim Rose Circus Sideshow - PNE Forum

I finally got to see Nine Inch Nails on the Downward Spiral tour. It was one of the best live shows I've ever attended. I spent the entire time in the mosh pit on the floor of the PNE Forum revelling in the sounds of Trent Reznor and Company. At one point, I remember finding someone's shoe and throwing it back into the crowd. At another point, someone's glowstick broke open and phosphorescent goo covered many distraught moshers. "Hurt" was the highlight for me, as Trent's performance conveyed such a high level of emotion. I stood there entranced, staring at the images displayed on the huge video screen lowered in front of the stage. (These images later showed up in the video for the song.) Pure joy!

The Fall - Starfish Room

I remember that The Fall's big song at the time of this tour was "Free Range."

Another White Male/The Fourth Man - Graceland

I remember being so impressed by the industrial sounds of The Fourth Man, whom I had never heard of, that I bought their CD at this show.
