Delerium/DJ Sidestepper - Bimbo's 365 Club
I had never expected that Delerium would ever tour, considering the large number of vocalists that they had used over the years. However, I was delighted to attend this show by this band from my hometown of Vancouver. They had several different vocalists, and on some songs subbed in a different vocalist than had performed on the original recording. Kristy Thirsk seemed to take the leading role for the show, allowing the boys of Front Line Assembly to stay in the background with their computers and gear.

Dandy Warhols - 330 Ritch
For some reason that never became clear, there were problems with getting power to the stage for this show. Lots of banter between the band and the audience while waiting for everything to get sorted out. I was standing a couple feet from the band, and they resorted to playing their electric instruments "acoustically" for a few songs. Pretty interesting show from my perspective.

Bjork - Pier 30/32
Bjork on a huge outdoor stage. Not ideal, but inevitable considering her popularity. Bjork was still herself, and still managed to get across her own special sparkle.

Blur - Great American Music Hall
The previous times I had seen Blur live, I had been underwhelmed. It just seemed that the band did not put out enough energy to get me excited. However, I decided to give Blur another chance. Even though tickets were scarce for this show, I was lucky enough to get one before they sold out. I was not disappointed. Blur finally gave me the show that I had been expecting, over ten years after I first saw them.

Underworld/Primal Scream/Dirty Vegas/FC Kahuna - Fillmore
This show was originally scheduled for the Bill Graham Civic, but was moved to the Fillmore due to slow ticket sales. This suited me fine as it was awesome to see Underworld at such a small venue. The Fillmore was totally sold out and absolutely packed.

Zwan/Children's Hour - Warfield
The only time I ever got to see Zwan. I remember being near the stage, right in front of Billy. I was blown away by the triple-guitar assault.

Interpol - Fillmore
Rome comes to the rescue again! I could never have gotten into this show but for Rome's ticket connections. I thought that Interpol's performance was great.
